Mrs. Hassan was born and raised in New York City, but has been in Boston so long she might as well be
called a Bostonian. She is the mother of six sons and two daughters, which has prepared her for this
teaching career. She sees education from the student’s perspective, the parent’s perspective, and the
teacher’s perspective. Mrs. Hassan is back in school working on a C.A.G.S. degree. She is a firm believer
in the concept of “seeking knowledge from the cradle to the grave.” She wishes all a peaceful year.
